Water Properties Science (Biology) Assignment

Part A: Fill out the worksheet by researching on the computer, called
Investigation: Properties of water that sustain life. Click underlined link to download a copy of the worksheet.
Part B: Pick one of the properties and come up with/find on the Internet a demonstration to perform in front of the class on **UPDATED:Monday, November 26th, 2007 UPDATED**.

**Check grade printouts on cabinet doors. They will be updated by Tuesday 11/20 (or earlier.) Please come in during your open hour to work on missing assignments!

1. (Juniors) Allegory of the cave (check your grade now, it is probably a zero; TURN THIS IN!! Also, check this site for additional help)
2. (Sophomores)Huck Finn: Letter to the Board of Education defending your position to ban or allow this book to be read in schools.
3. (Juniors and Sophomores) River of Poetry- nature observations and poetry assignment with corrections from a classmate! All poems are in the Assignments folder in the Transfer (T) drive.
Science
1. Dissolved oxygen experiment: make sure to turn in the (1) experiment design sheet, (2) data table and your (3) lab review sheet
2. Risks of tubing poster (with three copies showing how you changed from your original draft)
English

Strikes Update
Reminder: Check the strikes on the bulletin board in the SEAL class often and remember you can do the following:
1. 1 hour of community service = 1 strike removed
2. 2 hours of custodial work = 1 strike removed
