No. I don't think that we should suddenly switch to renewable resources. Renewable resources leads to lots more pollution, but at the same time we are still running out of nonrenewable resources. I think a slight alteration of both resources will have a good turn out. We can lighten up on the nonrenewable resouces and use a small amount more of renewable. This in my opinion, would lead to the best result for the planet.
I believe that we should make a change to renewable resources but only on a small scale, so instead of just switching staright over maybe use half renewable and half nonrenewable and just see how it works out, also i dont believe that only using renewable resources is a good idea because its very costly and some resources do not use very much energy when we need them, and even though they wont run out weather conditions can ruin this.
hi,this is sherae and my opinion on this question is yes america should consider at least switching to a bit of renewable resources because the non-renewable resources that we use are polluting our enviorment. i'm not saying that we should switch to all renewable resources but just a little bit of change can help so our world doesn't end up under water or burned up by the sun or something. Also if we used more renewable resources less people would get sick from pollution in the air and in the end of it we would have alot more resources period. I'm not saying you have to just think about it...
i definitely think that America should make the switch to all renewable resources but first i think that we still need to ween ourselves off of the limited resources. i think that the we should begin supplementing certain energy's with renewable ones, such as heating homes and water with solar energy, mixing smaller amounts of gasoline with larger amounts of biomass, and so on. after standards like these are firmly in place we can move on to larger things and repeat the same thing so gradually our country will become an environmentally friendly one.
Yes, America should consider switching to Renewable Resources and slow down on the use of the Non-Renewable Resources. One reason that i think that America should change to renewable resources is that renewable resources will last longer and we will be able to use them for longer than any other non-renewable resources that will eventually run out and if we aren't already starting to us these renewable resources we all will lose everything we have from loss of resources. The second reason that I think that America should switch is because it will be cheaper in the future and Global warming won't take such a beating on the earth and we will be able to live longer than what we are coming to. We can change the world if we start using our minds and creative thoughts of how we can save the world for a little longer. one by one we can save this planet that we call home. For example if we start using solar power for our houses we could save a huge amount of energy.
We should use renewable resources because it will not only help the planet live longer it will help our species survive and if and when our species does die off then we can atleast leave planet earth healthy 4 the next species/civilization survive.
we need to do something soon. we need to start using renewable resources because are world is comeing apart. solar and wind power is what we need to start using and who cares about cost if we dont do it we will all be dead. the power made is good and efficient
I believe that the US should make a small change in switching over to renewable resources form nonrenewable resources. I think that the US has used nonrenewable resources for a long time and it has proven itself benefical but it causes pollution and is becoming costly to use like when we fill our cars with gas. But if the Us takes small steps to switch over to renewable resources by coming up with plans or fundings to use wind power and solar panals for those who can't afford it. It could prove to be a more benefical way for energy. Ashley
i think we should switch to renewable resources but slowly because our world is slowly running out of resources so if we could switch to some non and some renewable resources it would help the world
there are pros and cons to both sources of energy, though when it really comes down to it after a long period of time and working to get it perfected, renewable resources seem to be the smarter way to go. This is for many different reasons and a couple may include a safer way to make our energy last a lot more years in the long run since you can basically recycle the source or in some cases like wind or sun it will never go away unlike material items such as coal. Also once weget on our feet with using different ways to collect energy like tidal energy, biomass, hydroelectric, geothermal aswell as wind and sun, there will be large supplies of it all in different areas around the states and that will make it cheaper to use. For the places who recieve a lot of sun or maybe more wind than other states will determine which renewable source will be suitable. If these ideas that have been discussed for a while now and possibly take affect, our payment may decrease, we would have more of a promise to not run out of energy suppliers, and not only that it is not causing the earth furthing heating. I keep these ideas of renewable sources in mind and continue to believe it will be a good decision to change our old ways of producing energy!
It would a great idea but it isn't going to work the way the country plans on its happenings. If we use less of our non-renewable sources and start using a little more renewable sources then slowly the Co2 levels will decrease....
no i think that we should keep on using nonrenewable resorces because we have been using them for such a long time and yeah they might be running out but they are very good way to get energy but when they do run out we should switch to renewable resorces

i think that it would be good to switch to renewable resources becuse we have almost used all of the non renewable resources that we cant replace. we would have a lot less pollution in the would and it would be a lot claner world
