What are the effects of temperature on goldfish behavior and activity.
Elijah-If temp increases then the goldfish activity will be concentrated away from heat.
Cody-If Temp decreases then movement of fish will slow down.
Our project is one that will tell us what type of light will affect the behavior of crickets in a controlled environment. Using four different type of lights and a cage that has four different sections in it one for each type of light we will observe what type of light crickets would prefer. Our hypothesis is that the crickets will prefer the Black Light over any other lights.
My question to this experiment is What Reaction will Birds have to Music? My hypothesis is that the birds will be attracted to calm and quiet music. I'm using 5 different types of music to see what attracts the birds and what types of birds are attracted. I'm also making observations on volume so this should be interesting...
In the experiment we are trying to find out if second hand from a cigarette will affcet mealworms. We believe that if they are affected to smoke then they will be less reactive and act slow. to do this we will put 40 mealworms into 8 different petri trays (5 in each tray) by filtering cigarette smoke from a jar closed jar, through a tube, into a plastic bubble where the mealworms are placed. The mealworms have grain for food, so they will not die.

First we observe the goldfish in room temperature water to see how they would normally behave. Then we will have a cold temperature tank and a warm temperature tank and see how they behavior changes.
in biology my experiment is wether or not birds have a preference to the color of the feeders that the birds eat from.me and my partner think that the birds will be actracted by the bright colors.1)find the colored feeders.2)find a rope that is 50 ft.3) attach the feeders to the rope.4)hang the feeders between the trees so they hang.5)take the feeders down after the end of the day and record the results.
Do different types of music affect our bodies differently? *We hypothesize that if we play something more upbeat such as rap/hip hop, then the bodies electrical response will be higher. If we play something more down beat like classical music, then the bodies electrical response will be lower than the normal level. To preform this experiment, we will take the baseline measurements (blood pressure, and a skin response test) then we will play the music, have the participant write down their feelings, and then take the measurements once again to see the alteration if any.

hypothesis:i think that ants will need there antennaes to get through the maze
so im first going to get a group of ants and just see how they act observe what there doing. then i will take a few of the ants to send them through the maze and time them to see how long it takes them to get through it. then im going to freeze the ants and then pull there antennaes off with tweezers and repete the proces without there antennaes.
